Your journey begins at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, home to the towering 121-meter-tall monument depicting Lord Vishnu riding the mythical eagle Garuda. Explore the vast park grounds, admire the impressive limestone cliffs, and learn about Balinese mythology. Next, head to Padang Padang Beach, a famed surf haven nestled inside a cozy rock cavern. Walk down the scenic hollowed-rock entrance to feel the soft sand, cool off in the turquoise ocean, or simply relax by the shore.
In the late afternoon, continue to the dramatic cliffs of Uluwatu Temple. Perched high above crashing sea waves, this sacred 11th-century sanctuary offers panoramic views of the ocean coastline. As dusk falls, cap off your day with the legendary Kecak & Fire Dance show inside the open-air cliffside amphitheater—where rhythmic chanting and dynamic fire choreography come alive against a breathtaking Bali sunset backdrop.
